ABOUT US

moniteur de spéléologie diplômé d'état

more than just an instructor…

Originally from Vallon Pont d’Arc, the Ardèche Gorges and the surrounding area hold no secrets for me. They’ve been my playground for many years, whether for caving or for other outdoor activities such as hiking, mountain biking or climbing. I’ve been a member of a local caving club for around fifteen years, so I know the caves in the area inside out, and I’d be delighted to guide you in this all-round activity that combines sport and science. The protection of the underground environment, environmental education and the idea of sharing are the values that best represent my vision of the caving guide profession.

the ardèche gorges

The Ardèche Gorges lie between Vallon-Pont-d’Arc and Saint-Martin-d’Ardèche. It’s a 32km-long canyon, one of the most beautiful in Europe. The scenery here is breathtaking: 250m-high cliffs covered in scrubland, the river winding through the bottom of the canyon, rare flora and fauna. That’s why the Gorges de l’Ardèche are classified as a protected nature reserve. To preserve this fragile eco-system, there are several ways to explore the Ardèche Gorges: by canoe, on foot or by bike.
